National Religiously Motivated Pro-Israel Christian Outreach Constituency Director

Summary: The National Religiously Motivated Pro-Israel Christian Outreach Constituency Director will work to promote pro-Israel advocacy among religiously motivated, pro-Israel Christian leaders and political activists across the United States from AIPAC’s national headquarters in Washington, D.C. The Constituency Director will report to the National Outreach Director and implement a national outreach strategy, coordinate regional evangelical Christian and related Outreach activities, and conduct outreach efforts directly in certain parts of the country. The National Outreach Program promotes pro-Israel activism and education among leaders of various constituencies, including Progressives, African Americans, Hispanics and Religiously-Motivated Pro-Israel Christians.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•Coordinate Religiously Motivated Pro-Israel Christian outreach across multiple AIPAC regions, working closely with Regional Christian Outreach Directors to promote pro-Israel political activism.
•Develop and execute a national Religiously Motivated, Pro-Israel Christian Outreach strategy to be implemented across AIPAC regions.
•Develop and maintain relationships with influential national evangelical Christian leaders.
•Identify and share best practices, serve as a resource for Regional Outreach Directors and assist in the hiring and training of new Regional Outreach Directors.
•Conduct outreach efforts directly in certain regions of the country to promote pro-Israel political activism.
•Recruit participants for national AIPAC events and for AIEF educational seminars in Israel, and staff AIEF seminars in Israel as needed.
•Analyze political trends in the evangelical Christian community, perform necessary research and prepare background materials and documents.
•Work closely and cooperatively with AIPAC staff and lay leaders.
•Plan and implement meetings, speaking events, conferences and other events.
•Travel frequently to meet with regional staff and to conduct outreach activities.
•Perform other activities as assigned by the National Outreach Director.


•Bachelor’s or advanced degree strongly desired, or commensurate experience.
•A demonstrated commitment to advance the US-Israel relationship.
•A thorough understanding of and demonstrated experience working with leadership in the evangelical Christian community.
•Management experience strongly desired.
•Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
•Team-oriented personality with can-do attitude.
•Strong communication (oral and written) and research skills.
•Ability to travel regularly.
•Well-developed political skills, including at least 8 years political experience in Congress, in a state legislature or local government, on political campaigns, and/or equivalent activities, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks successfully.
