The Editorial Assistant coordinates, writes, edits, prepares and proofreads digital and print communications for the association. The Editorial Assistant also performs administrative tasks not limited to scheduling, travel arrangements, expense reports, meeting planning, phones and other needs to support fast-paced communications team. Successful candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills; strong organizational and time management skills; and efficient analytical and problem solving skills.
One to three years of experience in communications, with emphasis on writing for digital and print communications, required. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, public relations or government relations preferred.
