Communication Assistant

The Communication Assistant is responsible for working with the Communications Specialist on a daily basis and long-term media relations projects.
•Creation, maintenance and updating of communications documents, the Honda in America website, Twitter page, and external communications documents used by the state and federal teams
•Maintain databases
•Assist the state and federal government relations teams with communications research and administration
•Supporting internal and external communicatins initiatives
•Maintaining online communications resources
•Collecting information for internal use and communications publications
•Supporting state and federal teams with research and materials preparation
•Office administration and support activities


•BA/BS degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science or related field
•1-2 years of experience in a communications, government relations or government office (desired)
•Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
•Experience working with research databases
•Excellent writing skills
