Senate full committee majority staff seeks experienced and highly motivated professional to serve as senior staff member for economics and trade portfolio. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of proven professional success developing and implementing economic and trade policies. Deep understanding and experience with the following policy areas is required: trade agreements and negotiations; international and domestic trade enforcement; foreign and domestic tariffs; trade-related labor and environment issues; intellectual property rights protections; bi-lateral investment treaties; tax treaties; economic statecraft and export promotion; international economic development; and international financial institutions. Legislative experience is preferred but not mandatory. Eligibility for Top Secret security clearance is necessary.
