Internship Position in Congresswoman Julia Brownley’s Office (CA-26)

The office of Congresswoman Julia Brownley (CA-26) seeks motivated full or part-time interns to begin work in the Washington, D.C. office immediately. A qualified candidate will be dependable, own strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering phones, providing tours of the US Capitol, aiding the staff on various projects, attending briefings and helping with legislative research. The internship is unpaid, but will provide an invaluable introduction to public service as well as the Hill. Previous political or Hill experience is a plus but not required.
