Small government relations firm specializing in federal advocacy for local governments and local government agencies seeks Grant and Legislative Research Assistant. Responsibilities include researching federal grant opportunities for clients, tracking legislation, scheduling Capitol Hill meetings for visiting clients, contributing to and editing weekly written reports, and some administrative duties.
Applicants must have at least a bachelor’s degree. Familiarity with local government and/or Capitol Hill is preferred, and some experience with website maintenance and other basic office technology and software would be welcomed.
Salary is commensurate with experience and excellent benefits are offered. Our offices are located in downtown Washington, DC.
