Associate Vice President, Client Relations

The Associate Vice President, Client Relations handles the account management for a large group of DDC clients. The Associate Vice President must have strong client management skills as well as an understanding of public affairs and political/grassroots strategy. In addition they must possess outstanding communication capabilities, have the ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple projects and priorities, and thrive in a client intensive, campaign-style work environment. The technical aptitude to understand how technology integrates into DDC’s advocacy solutions is a must.

Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse set of clients and ensure client needs are met or exceeded
Measure and monitor ongoing client satisfaction, and identify and deliver programs to increase satisfaction
Lead and execute on client-specific projects typically involving various internal teams
Track, measure, and monitor client invoicing and revenue
Effectively problem solve and resolve client issues as they arise
Collaborate with Client Development team to identify new business opportunities within accounts

Qualifications:

4-7 years professional experience plus proven track record in the area of client relationship management and customer service
Demonstrated ability to confidently lead projects and teams
Passion for politics/public affairs coupled with an ambitious desire to work hard and deliver quality results
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) in effective ways to varied audiences
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
General technical competency
Entrenched habit of seeing tasks through to successful completion and taking pride in quality of work product
