The office of Congressman Buck McKeon (CA 25), Chairman, of the House Armed Services Committee, is seeking full time and part time unpaid Interns for Spring 2013 for our Washington, D.C. office. Candidates should be personable, self motivated, computer-literate with excellent oral and written communication skills. Interns are responsible for assisting with general front office duties. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:answering phones, processing mail, drafting constituent correspondence letters, researching legislative issues, attending meetings/hearings as needed. This is a great opportunity for college students seeking academic credit. Applicants must be either college or graduate students and be able to make a minimum commitment of four days a week.
