Small, high-power, non-profit organization looking for a Marketing and Events Assistant. Lots of room for growth for go-getters, flexibility. Virtual, hard driving environment.
>>Maintain email database
>>Develop invitations and newsletters to support events and membership activities
>>Assist with meeting execution: nametags, signage, speaker information, hand-outs, registration, catering and other duties as required
>>Maintain schedule of email marketing
>>Maintain and develop invitations
>>Assist with “value-add” ideas to make events fun and interesting
>>Maintain CEO’s expenses and some administrative duties
>>Assist with new member set-up
>>Post to social media, website and other outreach tools
>>Some familiarity with defense industry or interest in defense industry preferred
>>Must be proficient in Word and Excel
>>Mac user preferred
>>Able to follow directions
>>Experience with Eventbrite, Constant Contact, Facebook and LinkedIn
Must have excellent attention to detail, excellent grammar and understanding of a professional environment. Salary: $30,000-$40,000 based on experience.
